Went for a summit attempt Saturday 26 March. Made our own tracks in the snow from about 1800m. Via Ferrata line was snowed in heavily so we dug a staircase at the step parts which should ease attempts in the near future. We turned around at the final snowfield in fear of avalanche after hearing suspicious sounds from the snow.
