The SAC mountain hiking cabin is located on the right side of Lower Engadine near Scuol on a promontory between Piz Lischana and Piz San Jon. It lies in the centre of the Engadine Dolomites and faces the nearby Swiss National Park. In summer the scraggy landscape with the lake plateau of Lais da Rims draws many cabin visitors, including children. The round trip to Uina gorge or the challenging mountain trail to S-charl are popular hikes.
