A simple shelter above the mighty Glacier d’Otemma close to the Italian border, in the centre of an impressive, very secluded glacier universe. It is for self-caterers only, offers cooking facilities, but no electric light and certainly no mobile-phone reception. The cabin is accessed from Arolla via Cabane des Vignettes, from Mauvoisin via Cabane de Chanrion or from Valpelline (Aosta, Italy) via Col de Crête Sèche. It is an alternative stopover on the Valais Haute Route.
