Located on the SSW ridge of Pic Eccles, about 200 meters before the summit, and just above the Crippa bivouac. Access is from the Monzino refuge in about 5 hours. The current bivouac replaces the original one from 1939, which was destroyed in 1952. It has 9 beds.
