Das Bivacco befindet sich auf den Felsen des Balmenhorns, nur wenige Meter vom Gipfel und der Christusstatue entfernt. Es wurde während des Krieges 1915/1918 zu militärischen Zwecken gebaut. Sie wurde 1985 von der Sezione C.A.I. di Varallo komplett neu aufgebaut und nach dem Alagna-Führer Felice Giordano benannt, der bei einer Rettungsaktion abgestürzt ist. Sie ist nicht bewartet und hat 6 Betten, einen Kocher und einen Gaskocher. Schmelzwasser.
