Trulsbu is located midway between Sota and Nørdstedalsseter and is a good starting point for trips to Hestbrepiggene and Holåtindene. Starting from Lom, it is possible to pass no less than eight peaks over 2000 meters on the way to Trulsbu. There are many peaks to explore near the cabin, so it may be a good idea to set aside an extra day or two for this. For those who are used to glaciers, there are also many opportunities as Holåbreen is not far from the cabin.
