Snellingen is beautifully situated to the north of Romeriksåsene and is an excellent starting point for walking along Romeriksåsene towards Råbjørnhytta or towards Jotunheimstien. The cabin has a historical feel and is an old farm house with a history dating back to the 19th century. The area around Snellingen is a grazing area for cattle.
