  • Facilities: Rifugio Rey Guido is set at about 1, 761 m on the edge of a conifer forest in Alta Val Susa, offering sweeping valley views and a welcoming, family‑friendly atmosphere. Originally built in 1938 as a military outpost, it was converted into a mountain hut in 1956 by CAI‑UGET Torino and today sleeps 24 in cozy multi‑bed rooms. Since 2022 it’s run by geologist Pierre Vezzoli, and serves hearty meals with modern comforts like hot water, electricity and Wi‑Fi.

It is located in Pré Meunier, close to the imposing Grand'Hoche massif. The refuge, easily accessible, is a destination for summer and winter excursions. Built in 1938 as a military facility, it was converted into a refuge after the war.
