Refugi Estanys de la Pera – Climbing, Hiking & Mountaineering information

Refuge Estanys de la Pera is a payment refuge located in Catalonia (Spain). Available services: blankets, food and drinks, heating, internet, shower and toilet. Raised to 2,357 m of altitude, the Lagos de la Pera refuge is located on the southern slope of the port of Perafita, next to the Lagos de la Pera. The equipment, inaugurated in 1957, is Paso del Gr 11.10, one of the variants of the path of great transpirrenaic route par excellence, which communicates the Cerdanya with the Principality of Andorra. The building follows the same architectural pattern as the San Jorge and Sierra de Ensija shelters, with an entrance door for the three equipment. It is an ideal place pear the practice of hiking in summer and mountain skiing and snow rackets in winter, with mostly rounded mountain profiles, ideal for the practice of this mountain discipline. Summer is an ideal time to go with children, since its access is quite fast and easy.
