Prestøyhytta is located in the center" of the western part of Sylan and offers great hiking terrain both summer and winter. The hut is part of the seven-day expedition NORWAY ACROSS which goes from Stjørdal to the Swedish border. The next hut on the trip west is Kvitfjellhytta (13 km).
