Beebys Hut Guide

- Facilities: Beebys Hut is found at about 1, 310 m on the tussock-lined ridge of Mount Richmond Forest Park. Built in the 1960s by NZFS as a six‑bunk standard shelter, it’s now managed by DOC and warmed by an open fire and basic heating, with mattresses and non‑flush toilets. Water must be boiled before use. Access is on foot or mountain bike year‑round, with seasonal 4WD access in summer.
