The highest peak within the village of Kochan territory. The peak itself and all its faces except for the southern one are covered with pines. The southern face is covered with birches. The terrain is very rocky and the vegetation additionally complicate the climb. Maybe the winter is the best season for climbing it because the snow kind of evens the surface. The trip from the villages of Kochan or Vaklinovo to the summit is very picturesque. On the way to the peak one passes by the ancient Thracian fortress situated on the top of the Badiboga summit - just a few hundred meters below Marashka Chuka in the southward direction. One can see the magnificent mountains Falakro to the south, Slavyanka to the southwest and the Pirin mountain range to the east.
