Mt.Kakarditsa witch is the highest mountain of South Pindos range shapes one extensive mountain crest with direction from North to South and include the peaks Kakarditsa(2429m.),Xilia Eksinta(2245m.),Tsouma Plastari(2191m.),Katarachias(2280m.),Trigonia(2034m.),Kryoneri(2370m.),Variko(2007m.) and Kriakouras(2085m.).To the East has the Mt.Pachtourniaska(1975m.),to the South is the Mt. Tzoumerka(2393m.) and the North is the Mt. Peristeri or Lakmos(2294m.). The path to the peak starts from the vilage Gardiki(70Km. from Trikala).From Gardiki(1100m.) to the summit of Kakarditsa is 4-4,5 hours.The view from the peak is astonishing!!!
