Standing against the backdrop of the Aiguille Verte, the summits of Les Drus are the most impressive of all the rock spires visible from Chamonix. The traverse of the Petit and Grand Drus high over the Mer de Glace, the longest and largest glacier in France, is a long and rewarding climb.
