Please submit any useful information about climbing Cathedral Peak that may be useful to other climbers. Consider things such as access and accommodation at the base of Cathedral Peak, as well as the logistics of climbing to the summit.
The Standard Route is a C grade scramble route. Some parties and guided parties use a rope in some places. There are a few bolts with chains in along the harder sections. These are for belaying people who are not confident on exposed C grade scrambles. The other worth while routes are the North East Arete, 3 pitches of D grade and the South East Chimney Route graded E3. Sherman's Cave or Bell Cave are often used as a base camp. In winter there is not much water available on or near the peak.
