An impressive view across the vast plateau of Glacier du Trient to Aiguilles Dorées and Aiguille du Tour is the trademark of this characteristic high alpine SAC cabin with its cubical annex. It is the starting point for high alpine tours in the Swiss part of the Montblanc range. Experienced mountain hikers coming from Cabane d’Orny as well as in winter ski mountaineers on the western leg of Haute Route also choose to stay overnight in the cabin.
