Site Update (May 1st 2013): All weather maps have been improved to make them much more useful for climbers. Animate either temperature or weather and move your cursor to any mountain location to see how the weather is forecast to evolve at various elevations. Because of the limited space on these large region maps, we can only show this at a subset of locations. We will add much more detailed maps very soon.

Walk up
Storzic is not a very high mountain, but is one of the most expressive mountains in Slovenia. It rises almost directly from the plains north ftom the city of Kranj and serves as its unmistakable background. It basicaly has no real competitors (in height that is) in its near sorroundings. To reach the summit, you can either climb the 650m high nort wall (there is also a normal sclimbing route here) or you can walk up from the south. In both ways you will be rewarded with a beautiful wiew.
