Walk up
Although not the highest peak in Southern california, it is the Highest Peak in Orange County. There are several wide, dirt fire roads to the top, but the quickest is from Silverado canyon. From the top one can see most of Southern California, including the mountains at the Mexican Border. What makes this mountain special is that there are no peaks over 4000 feet within 40-50 miles, so you get an un-obstructed view for 360 degrees!
