The picture shows the Iao Needle and not Puu Kukui.
Puu Kukui is within a very sensitive nature reserve. No responsible person should trespass there, especially with rapid Ohia death still a problem.

I wouldn’t recommend it
It is gnarly dangerous and With intense inclement weather
You most likely will get arrested as there are hidden cameras sending email, use of drone and well coordinated security measures
