About 25 km and 11 hours round trip with a 5:30 am start on December 6, 2019. Nice route that is generally easy to make out. Windy weather and below freezing temperatures on this mountain. About a 20 minute car ride from the Las Grutas refugio by the gendarmie post on the Argentinean side. The refugio has solar power, full kitchen, refrigerator, and showers but is first come first serve for the bunk beds. It can get crowded with weekend visitors but it was quiet while I was there. Bathroom facilities are nice too! Note: I think there is some paperwork required to allow a car past the army post as my guide failed to do so and we needed to get a ride from another climber to the start of Nevado

Estamos en la cumbre del San Francisco, el clima es muy inesable, se descompone por la tarde y a la noche se despeja, la temperatura es de -6 en la cima sin vientos, esta expectacular. Saludos.
