Mt Cougal Climbing Notes

Shay Cougal from AUSTRALIA writes:

Enter from the car park on Garden of Eden rd. Please respect private properties on both sides of the fence, follow the boarder fence line to the summit. A very steep accent for the last quarter of the hike, veer to the right and follow the goat track up once the fence stops, no signs to help! Approximately 5km one way and only for the experienced.
Sacred land and preferred not to be promoted as a walk for the masses! People get lost every year up hear so keep your navigation wits about you and be prepared if you do take the walk. No Fires!
This access is not the way to Currumbin rock pools and from the rock pools is not the way to the Cougals, “Private Properties” ignore GPS!
Thank you.
