Walk up
Rising gently in easily recognized ridges to the East of Nogales, Mt. Washington is a less-known peak that bears the name familiar to many as the peak in New Hampshire. Covered in junipers, pinions, and oaks, it has a woodsy feel to it. No water except snow in season. This is a significant peak because it is the southernmost 7000 ft + peak in the Basin and Range area of Arizona and New Mexico. Start from Washington Pass. Look for trail to south. May be faint.
