Headed to do Bierstadt on 01/29/20, do quandary this time every year Mother Nature wins sometimes and have to turn around at tree line (like 2016/brutal). Anyone been up there this year? How is the snow, trail or the brutal wind with no trees on Bierstadt? Text anytime 210-978-4008

I am taking my ten-year-old boy hiking up Mount Bierstadt on Sunday morning, October 27th, 2013.
AS the date approaches, can anyone tell me the weather conditions near the summit? Specifically, I am looking to find out about how much snow may be on the ground.

My Family and I are looking to climb this Saturday, starting around 7-8. I have heard there is a little dusting going on right now (Friday) from friends in G-town, but it should not impact too much other than a little mush.
