Japheth Michael from Papua New Guinea
My name is Japheth Michael and I come from Pindiu in Finschhafen District, Morobe Province. We share part of the Sarawaget Range with Kabwum District in the north side of the range.
I would like to thank Impulse Adventures to take courageous stance to climb some of the most difficult mountains including Sarawaget.
Last week about 14 pilgrims who trekked this range trying to cross over to Inadgen in Kabwum all perished in the mountain due to cold climate. Only one body was retrieved, 15 are yet to be discovered and retrieved.
Trekkers have to prepare properly to climb this mountain range.
