Gore Mountain (Vermont) Climbing Notes

grant smithson from UNITED STATES writes:

By all means avoid the hike. One of the worst hiking experiences I've had. trail is poorly marked, difficult to navigate due to incredible mud and muck. at the top the only thing there is is a dilapidated ranger shack and a privy. no real views at top and on the trail. I had to use logging road to get out since no markings existed. Logging road runs to highway 114. entrance is gated. hard hike due to incredible boggy terrain. Again, avoid this trail!
