Description
Although not a menacing mountain, it is the tallest in the immediate area. A 3,000 elevation gain over 4 miles makes it a moderate hike in good weather. Located in North East Washington state, it offers awesome views of the Priest Lake area and the Selkirk Range of North Idaho. You can also see north well into British Columbia and west to the North Cascades. The unmaintained road to the trailhead definately requires 4 wheel drive (I learned that the hard way). Plan on 5 hours round trip.
